Was anyone else ignorant to the fact Joseph McCarthy died at *48 years old*? You're telling me this 65-year-old man didn't live to see 50? This man who was clearly a grandfather of seven grown adults was barely in his late-40s when he died?

Yesterday, as I went to class, I literally ran into a former student who insisted on giving me a hug and saying how much they missed our class. A class I only just realized was *six semesters ago*. Moments like this unironically make the rest worth it.
