Ai won’t replace developers or anyone in general, however AI will reduce the employment rate drastically. 1. Few years ago a company will see the need to have multiple developers in order to speed up the work flow. In 2026 companies now pay for AI credits to speed up the workflow. So I think it’s fair to say AI has replaced the developers who would have occupy that role. Thus, AI has replaced those developers leaving only the seniors. 2. Companies no longer sort out for your coding skill, rather they sort for your problem solving skill and ideation. Developers who can’t be this and know only coding will be replaced by AI. 🥤The only way to fix this and be irreplaceable is to be valuable beyond writing codes. “Be an Idealist and have string problem strong skills” Forgot to add “Be well documented and presentable” don’t just show us your full backend code, instead tell us what it solves in a presentable way.

🧮 Before AI panic… there was Calculator Panic In the early 1970s, cheap pocket calculators from HP & TI hit the market. Teachers & parents freaked out: “Kids will forget how to do basic math!” In 1986, maths teachers led by John Saxon protested against using calculator till the brain is trained to curb premature calculator usage because it maybe harmful to children education. Is history repeating with AI? I believe we will adapt like we did with calculators. Entry level devs and designers, learn the basic first before using AI! #EdTech #MathEducation #AI
