"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want... He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3). Lord, may we receive Your peace. Peace in our homes, peace in our churches and peace in our hearts, especially when it feels like the world all around us spins out of control. Amen.

"Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations" (Isaiah 42:1). Immanuel, ransom Your people from their bondage to sin and deliver them from the nations for the glory of Your Name.

Thank you, God, for sending Your Son to be born of a virgin, to live a perfect life, and to die on the cross for my sins. Thank you that He rose from the dead three days later and that this and every Christmas we can celebrate the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Your name is still called ‘Wonderful,’ ‘Counselor,’ ‘The Mighty God,’ ‘The Everlasting Father,’ and ‘The Prince of Peace.’ As Your children, we cry out for a fresh filling, and a new awareness of Who You are.

During the Christmas season, pray for our missionary brothers and sisters in Christ to be full of love and a zeal for the Lord and the furtherance of the gospel. Pray that through their lives and message many will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.

This Christmas, pray for military families to be strengthened by God during seasons of separation from their service member, and to be united together in God's love.

Lord Jesus, as I celebrate salvation in Your name, help me to be "God with skin on" to those in need around me. Open my eyes and let me see them as You see them and grant me a heart of compassion. Amen. #Matthew9:36

For those who grieve this Christmas season, we pray that the Comforter will abide with each one favoring them with grace, truth, and peace.

"I see him, but not now; I perceive him, but not near. A star will come from Jacob, and a scepter will arise from Israel" (Numbers 24:17). Pray that Israel will understand the prophecies in Scripture, see their Messiah, turn, and be saved.

Jesus, thank you for loving me enough to temporarily shed your glory and become a man so you could pay for my sin and save me to the uttermost!

Pray for fresh power in the hearts of God's people this Christmas to glorify and praise God for everything that He has done. Confess any religious spirit that has a form of godliness but denies the power.
