I think Austin Reaves has proven to bé worth about 30m a year when you take into account his strengths and his regular season and his chemistry and fit with Luka but the next challenge for him is to spend an offseason working on his core strength and handle.

Austin Reaves is such an obvious target for Brooklyn. 95th percentile plus offensive player last year by most metrics. 23-5-5 on 64% TS — that efficiency tells me he can elevate to 28-7-5 on 58% TS with the Nets in a bigger role. That’s an All-Star, potential All-NBA guard in the East, attainable for just money in free agency, which is rare nowadays. Nets need talent and that’s a talent add but how does Brooklyn navigate free agency for guards if they select another guard in the 2026 Draft?
