@JohnCarn487512@LakersNation Agree he wants too much money he was basically stat padding in meaningless game today series was over. Had 9 turnovers and got cooked on defense yet again
Anthony Edwards is in a tied series with the Spurs on just 9 days rest from a knee injury and a bone bruise in his ankle & is dropping buckets on Wemby & playing elite defense.
Yet casual Laker fans are making excuses for Austin Reaves who came off 4 weeks, and dropping duds 😂
@Lakeshowtalks@vinaykillawala Just know if we pay him big money lakers won see a championship in the foreseeable future 😂 having two cones on defense like Reaves and Luka is a death sentence
@igamble405@vinaykillawala There’s something called regular season you can act stupid and emotional all you want that matters and Reaves has played above his current contract and is a 30-35 million player cry dumbass
@igamble405@vinaykillawala Not to mention that is just saying the max they could get never was it once said that’s what he looking for when he already denied that so you just sitting here continuing to lie
I think Austin Reaves has proven to bé worth about 30m a year when you take into account his strengths and his regular season and his chemistry and fit with Luka but the next challenge for him is to spend an offseason working on his core strength and handle.
@igamble405@vinaykillawala You are lying nowhere was that said in fact Reaves literally said he’s not even looking for no big number so you just making up dumbass shit to argue for nothing
Austin Reaves is such an obvious target for Brooklyn.
95th percentile plus offensive player last year by most metrics.
23-5-5 on 64% TS — that efficiency tells me he can elevate to 28-7-5 on 58% TS with the Nets in a bigger role.
That’s an All-Star, potential All-NBA guard in the East, attainable for just money in free agency, which is rare nowadays.
Nets need talent and that’s a talent add but how does Brooklyn navigate free agency for guards if they select another guard in the 2026 Draft?
