Today is the 500th day since my last drink. I have much to be grateful for, not the least of which are the friends and people who have inspired, encouraged, and supported this sobriety journey, including @DaveKluge, @footballdiehard and my @Footballguys family. This journey started as a gift to myself, and I get to open it every day. If you have been thinking about making a change in your life -- quitting drinking, leaving a job you hate, getting out of a bad relationship, going back to the gym, writing that book, taking that trip, starting your own business -- whatever it is, just start, right now. Day 500 can't happen without Day 1. If I can help you in any way, please reach out. You don't have to walk any path alone.

I don't think I'd add a punishment. Retirement is a natural part of the game. Then there are other players who don't retire so much as they just disappear from fantasy relevance, and those would just get dropped (or you hang on to them in hopes they return to relevance). Same for retired guys, I'd think. You can drop them or retain them on your bench in case they un-retire.

@jeffblaylock Completely agree. Definitely can chalk it up to bad luck, but I think it’s worth a discussion. Would you ever do something where they are penalized for having someone retire from their team? Appreciate the feedback as always, Jeff! 🔥

Glad @TheUFL is changing this rule. I love that this league is willing to try new things and experiment with its rules, but this one should never have been in place. I'm referring to that OT game that ended on a defensive penalty, the second in OT but unrelated to the 1st.

Zay Flowers finished as the WR7 last year. Then the Ravens brought in Declan Doyle to implement his version of Ben Johnson’s scheme, which should be friendly to Flowers. Despite that, he goes of the board as WR19 - I’ll take that all day long.
