@mattpat91657852 @Marktomo771 Stevie is retired …move on and stop dwelling on the past ffs
English

@Marktomo771 I think he thinks he’s better than what he is. I do think he’s a good player but he’s nowhere near Stevie for me.

Hope the UVF parades in the East are hit as hard ..... We say that every year though and nothing happens 🙄

You drive past a petrol station in Bristol or Hull or Swansea or Basildon and there are fifty cars queued out onto the road. Fifty.
People arguing with the attendants because the £30 limit means she can't fill her tank enough to get to her parents' for Easter.
This is Britain in April 2026. We import nearly half our oil, despite sitting on considerable untapped reserves. We have no meaningful strategic reserve to speak of. The Strait of Hormuz closes and within five weeks we're rationing fuel at the forecourt like it's 1973 again.
Every government since the nineties knew this dependency was a vulnerability. Every single one decided it was a problem for the next lot.
Well, there is no next lot any more. There's just us, in the queue, watching the price tick up.
Britain could have the cheapest energy in the developed world within a decade. And in fact it's not so much a nice ambition as it is a geopolitical and autarchic necessity.
Without it, we are at the mercy of every war we didn't start and every dictator we can't control. That's not sovereignty. That's a country on a leash.

I’ve been supporting and following Derry City FC since I was 11 years of age. Season ticket holder for 14 out of the last 20 years. The club is currently an absolute circus and Tiernan Lynch is 90% of the problem. Fans want him gone… anyone with any sense can see it… I’ve never seen a manager with so little likeability and who’s clearly completely out of his depth. Never mind the incredible backing he’s got from our chairman. Listening to his interview after the game last night… “Boys are working hard all week”, “We need to get our bums up”, “We aren’t shying away from this”… “Boys are great in training”… Same thing every interview. Heard this during the week and it’s very true… we should all get a season ticket for Owenbeg instead of the Brandywell; all the good football seems to be played there. Talented bunch of players, probably the best squad on paper in a long time. Hargy is right… time for a new conductor. Felix Healy is saying it exactly how it is today on Highland Radio – take the job, Felix, and sort it out, no better man. Martin O’Neill is back doing it with Celtic, no reason why Felix can’t turn it around and put a bit of pride back into Derry City… stick Sean Hargan in as your assistant manager and give us a fighting chance this season before it’s too late… and do it before Monday night! Big away support to get things back on track 🔴⚪️ @derrycityfc #DerryCityFC #FelixHealy #Derry #LeagueOfIreland

@EQuitableness33 @brownie_adams @chrisadonnelly @seanlynch122 Some find it hard that their loved ones were murdered by terrorists it’s called mourning not festers
English

@jimb06 @brownie_adams @chrisadonnelly @seanlynch122 Hopefully you'll not have to hear ot much longer then. Time the oul wans let the younger ones make a better go of it instead of festering in bitter juices.

On the contrary, it’s a direct equivalence.
British Remembrance includes honouring UDR, RUC, B Specials, Tans, Paras & more.
Respect for British Remembrance by Republicans warrants reciprocation at Easter time by those genuinely seeking reconciliation, a shared today & future.
Choyaa@Choyaa13
@chrisadonnelly This is false equivalence, Chris. Remembrance Day honours sacrifices in multiple wars, including 200k Irishmen (Nationalists & Republicans among them) who served. The Easter Rising celebrates a separatist rebellion against British rule, Unionism has no reason to attend.

@belfastbhoy1961 Add me to that list but it’s still a fuck the pope from me
English

@EQuitableness33 @brownie_adams @chrisadonnelly @seanlynch122 Been hearing that all my life and it’s still boring
English

@jimb06 @brownie_adams @chrisadonnelly @seanlynch122 Jimmy, you're trying so hard to stop progress one grievance at a time but its imminent. Whether the loyal British sycophants like it or not, Ireland will be united.

haven’t switched off a Liverpool match on TV for years - until now. Credit to Man City but this Liverpool team is a total disaster. #LFC

@CallionFiona @HipsterUnionRep I been Irish since birth and British as both are compatible
English

@jimb06 @HipsterUnionRep So how do you align being Irish to wanting to be part of the UK ?
English

@EQuitableness33 @brownie_adams @chrisadonnelly @seanlynch122 If that’s how you keel then yes but I don’t want any reconciling with murderers
English

@chrisadonnelly @seanlynch122 You’re wasting your breath… PUL don’t want reconciliation. .
English

@chrisadonnelly Chris who is offended by everything and ashamed with nothing

Another year is destined to pass without Unionist leaders attending an Irish nationalist/republican commemoration & thereby beginning to reciprocate the important outreach gestures made by Nat/Rep. leaders re Remembrance over recent decades.
