Rainbow Puppets came today to share stories and songs with grades PreK - 4th. All students enjoyed the interactive performance! Thank you Mrs. Paige for the special school invite! ❤️📚

Today “Sally the Cow” from the Mobile Dairy Classroom came to visit the scholars in grades Prek-5th. Scholars were able to learn the importance of milk to our bodies and how cows like Sally play an important role in our dairy needs.

Our Eagle Blue Print for Success Staff Meeting was teacher lead today. We were able to celebrate our teacher of the year and nominees, refresh classroom management and enhance Tier 1 strategies. Teaming for Excellence!

Eagles were spreading positive messages throughout the school today! SOARING HIGH with Kindness!

Eagles brought our Living Museum of important people of the past to life! They were able to give facts and teach everyone something new. Each one truly taught one today!

It was “Throwback Day” at JMES! We went back to the 80’s, 90’s & 2000’s! We continue to work on our academics and take time to learn more about the past! #BlackHistoryMonth

Eagles made sure to come dress in their red, pink, or white to spread LOVE! Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone!💝

Building our capacity is what the teachers in grades K-5 and our specialists of James Monroe do! Edmentum Training this Saturday helped us to learned more about our math program that will help our scholars to continue to build their math skills!

Famous Celebrities showed up today to celebrate Black History Month with us at James Monroe! Eagles are enjoying impersonating and learning about their favorite celebrities!

Our Reading and Math Specialists took the lead on our Saturday morning SIPPS Challenge Level Training and Eagles SOL Boot Camp for our teachers and paraprofessional. Eagles are moving forward to scholar SUCCESS!

James Monroe is proud to announce our AMAZING ITRT Mr. Michale Siverio as our 2022 Teacher of the Year! He brings technology to life for scholars, staff, and parents!

Today was our Growth Data Celebration for our scholars! We are so proud of our scholars school-wide. Most importantly they are proud of themselves! Keep soaring high Eagles!

Today we celebrated our girls as the participated in The 2021 Girls on the Run! Thank you to our coaches Ms. O’Connell and Mrs. Lane for their dedication and to family,friends and staff who supported the girls as well. You girls are our CHAMPIONS!

The Kiwanis Club Members came today bringing bags of treats and goodies for our PreK and Kindergarten scholars at James Monroe. We appreciate you spreading holiday cheer upon our scholars. Happy Holidays to each of you! #Joy
