Excited to be in the latest magazine @ShearsmanBooks, with some very loose queer #Polari versions of #Catullus. My first published poems. Hope readers enjoy these trifles. #ClassicalReception

@sapphicapuella @ae_stallings Er no. I do often wonder if I really wrote it though.
English

@ae_stallings Forgetting a review is one thing; I can't imagine forgetting something more creative, but do poets read their own poems and not recognise them as theirs?
English

This book is a must-read for anyone interested in Ovid's exile and its huge influence on modern depictions of exile. Congratulations, @RebeccaMenmuir - I can't wait to read it!

@ae_stallings That has happened to me with payments from French universities. The bank was completely bemused…

@liamguilar Yes, Yeats here too. It’s a while since I’ve reread Jones or Graves so overdue a visit. Neruda too.
English

@jobalmer Yeats more than anyone. Then Bunting, Jones, Graves and R.S Thomas. But I've spent the last year or so working my way through John Matthias' poetry and he will be on the rereading list. Kipling since before primary school.
English

#poets which poet/s do you reread most often? And why if you have the inclination to explain. Thank you.
English

@liamguilar The whole of ‘Men In the Off Hours’! Talking of North American women poets, also often re-read Adrienne Rich’s ‘The Dream of a Common Language’. Back in Blighty, just re-read Larkin’s Collected. What about you?
