@KyleLuttinen @max_knight10 With Jerry I think it’s a balance and two things can be true. 1. He has gotten absolutely no support the last three years and forced to “make it work.” 2. He has missed one or two too many offseason bats for me to think he’s trusted long term.

@max_knight10 This is the mentality that has us as the worst baseball franchise ever! Think about winning teams (NYY, BOS, LAD) what happens when their teams struggle? You make real change. Being too nice to our front office & players has us content in mediocrity 5/47 years in playoffs

Firing Dipoto would be a huge mistake. 1. It won’t happen. 2. Many teams are salivating at the thought of being able to get him as their PBO/GM. Jerry has built something in Seattle. The MLB product is grossly underperforming and a majority of the blame does not fall on him.

@KyleLuttinen @max_knight10 One minor yet significant difference between the Ms and those teams you are referencing is payroll. When we, a team with payroll +\- $145m, make a real change from a roster standpoint, it’s not as easy to simply snap the finger and sign big bats in the winter

A full year of an improved Julio Rodrigues (.160 in April/May) will be a massive improvement. Young core all progressing will be a massive improvement. We are doing something different.
