@CatharineHoey Mad that someone as thick as you was allowed to be an MP
English

Boris was arguably the most famous politician when Mayor of London yet he travelled all over London on his bicycle with NO security and on the tube where he was usually inundated for selfies. Yet Khan immediately took a bomb proof carrier flanked by a back up and then a security guard. Absolutely no need for such an expensive security team. Signs of grandeur rather than necessity!

Wonder where the bomb proof land rovers , security detail and fire power were when Boris was Mayor of London !

There is literally no party that represents me. Why on earth would I vote when the options we have are so utterly terrible? Fuck them all.

@jonafrmda1stt @TailgateEast12 So they’d still be in it if the tournament were 32 teams? What’s the issue?
English

@TailgateEast12 Curacao and Cape Verde both came first in their groups ahead of Jamaica and Cameroon

@grey4626 @iranidaturan Brit here. Not all the population is soft. Many of us agree with you and loathe our current spineless leadership.

Fucking Finally.
The Lion of Mar-a-Lago has roared with that signature, unfiltered lethality, and the message slices through the European delusion like a Tomahawk through a command bunker:
the age of American subsidy for your parasitic cowardice is fucking over.
To the sniveling, jet-fuel-starved cock-suckers of the United Kingdom and its spineless continental cohorts...listen the fuck up.
For eighty years we have bled treasure, blood, and industrial supremacy to underwrite your decadent existence.
From the Marshall Plan’s reconstruction of your war-ravaged empires to the carrier battle groups that have patrolled the Persian Gulf since the Tanker War of the 1980s, America has been your unpaid mercenary, your nuclear umbrella, your global logistics backbone.
NATO?
Nothing more than the North American Tribute Organization...where the United States shoulders over sixty-five percent of the alliance’s actual spending while your militaries have atrophied into hollow parade-ground husks, underfunded, undermanned, and equipped with yesterday’s gear because you chose cradle-to-grave welfare states and green virtue-signaling over steel and resolve.
Geopolitically, the Strait of Hormuz is no academic footnote:
it is the jugular vein of the world economy, funneling twenty-one percent of global petroleum liquids...nineteen million barrels a day...through a narrow chokepoint that asymmetric Iranian tactics...mines, anti-ship missiles, speedboat swarms...were designed to threaten precisely because they knew direct confrontation with American naval power was suicide.
We and our Israeli partners have done the hard kinetic work...the precision decapitation of their leadership structure.
The heavy lifting is finished.
Now these same European freeloaders, who lacked the spine to commit forces when it mattered, dare complain about disrupted sea lanes?
Decades of Pax Americana have bred in you a terminal strategic infantilism:
a learned helplessness wrapped in smug moral superiority.
You lecture the world on the “rules-based order” while outsourcing your survival to American sons and daughters.
History is merciless on this point...from the Suez Crisis of 1956, when your imperial twilight exposed the limits of European power projection without U.S. backing, to the present.
Your elites are psychologically castrated by comfort; your populations softened by entitlement.
You forgot that freedom of navigation is not a birthright...it is enforced by gun, steel, and the will to use them.
President Trump’s directive is surgical in its venomous precision:
Number One, buy the fucking fuel from us...we have plenty.
Number Two, grow some long-overdue balls, reconstitute what remains of your navies, sail into the Strait, and TAKE IT.
No more American taxpayers dying to keep your fighters in the sky and your economies from freezing in the dark while you backstab and virtue-signal.
The parasite has fed on the host long enough.
The era of the United States as Europe’s security guard, banker, and scapegoat is closed.
Fight for your own oil or learn to live without it.
Adapt or wither. The choice is yours, but the protection racket is finished.
Grow a fucking spine or don't. We don't give a fuck anymore.

@panks_79 That’s good to hear at least they’re chasing the agent! It’s bang out of order not allowing access.
English

@jthfc96 To be fair, the Surveying company has said they will not take further payment from me as I’ve paid for a Level 3 survey in full. They are chasing the agent/vendor for payment. Date was a week in advance so the agent and vendor were given good notice to have access ready.
English

@panks_79 Unfortunately I think you’re still liable for payment as per the terms of the survey, but I’d have red flags if they’re refusing access…
English

@ECOuteSvp @SimonCalder You just have absolutely no idea what you’re on about
English

Should I worry about my Easter/April flight? (No)
Could I be asked for extra cash for a flight I've already bought? (No, but package holiday providers could apply surcharges)
Will air fares rise? (Yes if fuel prices stay high)
Should travellers panic? (No)

There's no genuine sporting reason why Saka and Palmer should go to the World Cup.

I love Keano and it pains me so much that he's a Gooner, but I love Wrighty too.

Met him a few times and each time he was up for a joke and was genuinely engaging and took time out to have meaningful conversation not just soundbites.

@brucewayne606 @Liam_J20 These are absolutely not the 48 best teams in the world

New format is awful; no group stage jeopardy, 50% of games boring and uninteresting- as fuck.
Another example of money ruining the sport.

The World Cup groups in full 🍿 Who's excited? 🤩
English

@brucewayne606 @Liam_J20 That’s literally why I have Sweden third. I don’t really get your point anyway because if 3 teams go through regardless all we’re seeing here is a toss up for 3rd and 4th between two shit teams
English

@brucewayne606 @Liam_J20 Mexico, Korea, Czech, SA
Turkey, USA, Paraguay, Australia
Netherlands, Japan, Sweden, Tunisia

@Liam_J20 So let’s start with Group A, D, F.
Let me know 1st - 4th for those three groups

@caporegime21_ Would be the equivalent of 220k today - a very large amount!
English

120k in 2003 puts you in the top ~0.5% of earners. Normal would assume ‘average’, average salary in 2003 was ~£25k. Therefore, by definition it’s not normal money, is it ? In fact it’s 4.8x more than ‘normal’ money.
Not to mention cost of living was far lower then too 👍🏽
zz@00lawd
@caporegime21_ Are you 12? That’s normal money
