Most high-performers in tech have the skills to start their own thing. It’s never been easier to spin up your own product. If you took a good senior software developer and taught them the basics of product and marketing, they could replace their salary in 2 years with 95% confidence.

@nickcammarata I wish o3 had the memory pipeline enabled, though. For self reflection/feedback use cases that's where the gold is. I still use gpt-4o a lot for this reason.

my friends are using o3 a lot, most of them hours a day, maybe 5x what it was a month ago?

@nickcammarata In defense of The Mind Illuminated, the breath as a focus worked very well for me and the book came at a time in my practice when I had a lot to gain from revisiting staged instructions. Just not a framing to get stuck in.

I like The Science of Enlightenment and Seeing That Frees, first then second as an order, though imo both have their problems and there’s no single book I wholeheartedly recommend

I saw the greatest minds of my generation waste 1000 hours fixating on their breath with no insights or lasting effects bc they read the mind illuminated

Recommended: taking a moment to pause and recognize how far you have come, how you have grown, and how you have helped so many people along the way. And then, consider your future life and see just how rich it can be.

My guess is that there is only a 10% or less chance twitter has an outage that lasts longer than a day. Until there is a viable alternative my other guess is that it’s still around awhile.
