to me today to help her sell the USDT. I decided to guide her through the P2P process, only to discover that the balance had increased by 75%. Turns out she had discovered on her own that she could lock up the money to yield interest. So she just locked the money there and left

One thing I did when I first got into crypto, was basic onboarding for my siblings. I helped them set up Web3 accounts, and taught them how to perform basic transactions. I gifted my sister some USDT in 2023. She held the USDT in her wallet and did not sell it. She reached out

“Doctors are being paid N400k per month,” Actor Wole Ojo raises alarm E shock u abi? This won’t gain traction Considering that a Senior Registrar contracted and died from LASSA FEVER chasing these kinda Salaries Needle pricks that give Health workers and Doctors Hepatitis and HIV full everywhere… Some later develop complications from these diseases and die. Do you know what Hazard Allowance for Doctors in Nigeria is? 32k-40k depending on your level in service. That is ~400k per year. Which amongst Lassa, Hepatitis and HIV can that treat for you in a year? General hospitals across the country are having less and less doctors, Teaching Hosyamd other training facilities are having fewer and fewer Residents to train. You see the lacuna being created of shortage of healthcare workers and Doctors, we will soon crash into the lowest part of that pit and it’ll take decades to get out of. This is a National Crises that is fast becoming a National Disaster. And guess what, It’s now a National Emergency that no one is taking their time to face. Enough said….

I always thought I was very good at documentation and proper record keeping. I just went through my Dad's file bag, and boy, did I just get schooled 😂 💔. Man has a folder for every one of us. It was like watching your life journey in 7D.

the more hospital resources she used up. It was by God's grace that the balance was not deducted from my salary. And this is just one of many cases that I've seen. Poverty has pushed people into desperate survival mode. They'll abuse your kindness, just to survive.

"Once you make a diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy, the next place you should be taking the patient to, is the theatre". Those were the words of my Prof back in med school, when he taught us Ectopic pregnancy. However, our people are poor. And this poverty pushes people to...

I have a legitimate job. I don’t steal. I don’t cut corners. I wake up early, close late, give everything I have. But before salary even drops, responsibilities have already swallowed it. Younger ones at home looking at you like a hero… “Brother is working, he will sort it.” And some days that same brother doesn’t even have ₦1,000 in his pocket. Working like an elephant… eating like an ant. You watch people who barely struggle living soft lives, traveling, gifting, enjoying… and you’re here calculating transport fare. Sometimes it feels like grace forgot my name. Then a partner expects love expressed through money, gifts, support… and you’re ashamed because you can’t even fully provide for your own family yet. Marriage? Not even an option. Dreams? On hold. Help? Far away. Life just feels like rejection after rejection. I smile outside. I joke. I act strong. But my inner man has been bleeding for years. Sometimes at night I ask God quietly, “Did we offend You? Why does it feel like we’re being punished for trying to be honest?” Pain is real. And it’s heavy. To everyone hustling legitimately and silently breaking inside… may we not die trying. May God remember us. Because some of us are tired… deeply tired. 💔😢 How are you holding up?

My condolences for the life lost. Dear @tvcnewsng TVC News, Dear Nigerians Do you know the five principles of managing snake bite outside the hospital? 1. Reassure and Calm the victim 2. Immobilize the affected limb (as limbs are more often bitten by snakes) 3. Remove all tights; clothings, watches, tourniquets etc 4. Do No Harm; Do not cut or slice the wound Do not suck the bite site Do not apply tourniquets Do not apply ice Do not take aspirin or alcohol to numb the pain 5. Transport to the hospital While at the hospital: Dear TVC News, Dear Nigerians The most commonly used route of administration of anti snake venom is via INTRAVENOUS FLUIDS (aka drip) Studies have shown that leaving tourniquets leads to gangrene and eventual amputation of limbs hence discouraged. -Fluid administration (drip) -Anti venom -Anti biotic -Tetanus Prophylaxis -Blood clotting time measurements every 15 minutes -Monitoring vital signs (pulse, BP, Urine output, Oxygen saturation The above steps are strictly to be done in hospitals especially those with anti venom available. Without treatment and depending on the specie of snake involved, death can occur between 25 minutes to 30 days. Most commonly occurring with 6-24 hours following the bite and evidence of envenomation. It is important that Nigeria develops a clear policy for clinical governance. This will ensure the system is held to account in times of challenges rather than scapegoating and cover ups that goes on anytime these sad events occur.
