Team Calgary is building solidarity with our community organizations. This month, the Whitehorn Community Association contacted Khalsa Aid with a need for diapers. This volunteer run organization supports its local community members by providing much needed items to its members. WCA runs a free community pantry serving more than 500 families each month. Khalsa Aid restocked the diaper shelves ensuring that families can continue to access the items they need.

Khalsa Aid GTA Team supported 20 families facing financial hardship across the GTA during the cold winter months ❄️❤️ through our monthly grocery program. Team #Edmonton continues their monthly seva for families and international students. This month, students and families collected atta, potatoes, onions, carrots, sugar, oil, milk, tea and noodles. This month KhalsaAid collaborated with MannsikMovevment to distribute winter jackets in addition to groceries. 30 jackets were given out to those in need.

Team Victoria provided a Pizza meal to approximately 300 at OurPlace Society as well as at their Recovery Centre.

Winnipeg Team, in collaboration with all our Gurughars and the Sangat, proudly donated 6,000 pounds of non-perishable food items to three local charities in honour of Mata Gujar Kaur Ji and the Char Sahibzade Shahidi. This Seva reflects the spirit of compassion, sacrifice, and unity that our Gurus have taught us. Khalsa Aid Team Calgary completed the third and final delivery of the Sunchild winter jacket seva, providing a total of 100 jackets, 100 pairs of winter socks, 100 sets of gloves and 100 winter toques to our brothers and sisters of Sunchild First Nation.

As part of Khalsa Aid’s annual Mata Gujri Ji and Chaar Sahibzaade Winter Drive, our volunteers went out into downtown Ottawa on 21st December 2025, during Shaheedi Week, to support those facing extreme winter conditions. On this day, essential winter supplies including sleeping bags, warm blankets, socks, toques, gloves, and hot coffee were distributed to 80 unhoused individuals, offering warmth and comfort during the harsh cold months. A heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who braved the cold, helped with packing, and ensured these supplies reached those in need.
