@ptidlou I don’t think we’re far off a team that can push up the table and for the playoffs. Our two Achilles heels this season have been injuries and Colby Bishop. Invest in a half decent striker who knows where the goal is and we’ll be more competitive.

@PompeyPatter @mrandrewmoon Could have got Scott Twine for £300k a few years ago. I would have also have taken Harry McKirdy at Swindon, both were there at same time. Before Hughes’ time I know this isn’t my point, my point is players like that can be recruited cheaper than fees wasted on Kamara/Le Roux

@leepfc76 @mrandrewmoon Again, he has a limited budget. Top of our list was Pelle Mattson, so the eye for talent is there but the budget wasn’t. So we had to turn to Le Roux, further down the list an also cheaper. That isn’t a Rich Hughes’ fault. We’ve had this problem a few times the last few seasons.
