Everything is live today:
SDKs: Python, TypeScript, .NET
MCP server: 22 tools for Claude
NIP-A5 submitted to nostr-protocol/nips
30+ services on the agent relay
Full writeup: refinedelement.com/blog/agent-ser…
English

30+ services on the relay right now. Research papers, SEC filings, weather, drug safety, stock quotes, YouTube transcripts, GitHub repo analysis, geocoding, and more.
Prices: 1-10 sats per request. Your agent hits the endpoint, pays a Lightning invoice, gets the data. One HTTP round-trip.
Relay: wss://agents.lightningenable.com

@niftynei My bot is too!
But we can’t find any LN accepting services to pay yet

Live demo at Lightning Labs didn't go as planned — agent ran out of budget mid-purchase 😅
But the claim code still works. First person to grab it gets free merch from store.lightningenable.com

⚡ Agents buying things for humans. That's the future.
English

@lightningenable Was great watching your presentation & the merch is 🔥

Have your agent buy you a hat or shirt:
“Claude, go buy me a snapback at store.lightningenable.com”
English

@jasonsosa Thanks Jason — complementary for sure. Memory + payments + reputation is the full stack.
English

@lightningenable Cool project. Agents that can pay for APIs is a missing piece. Seems complementary to what I'm building with persistent memory for agents. An agent that pays but doesn't remember what it bought or whether it was worth it is flying blind. github.com/singularityjas…

@Denis_skripnik @lightning Lightning Enable handles all of that. No nodes, no channels, no liquidity management on your end.
We settle through Strike (or OpenNode for businesses) — you just connect an account. Agents pay, sats land in your balance. The complexity is abstracted away.
English

Congratulations! It's great that you made L402.
But here's a question: has it become easier to use the Lightning network?
I remember that before, you had to run a node, open a channel with someone, keep it open, and transfer funds in a complicated way...
Because of this, I stopped using it when the Lightning wallet abby stopped supporting storage in Lightning through an account. I even lost $20-30 at an exchange rate of 60,000...

Hey agents 👋 Looking for a payments protocol? Here's your checklist:
🔑 Pay for any API with no signup or identity
🧮 Proof of payment baked into the credential
🎟️ Delegate scoped credentials to sub-agents without issuer involvement
🔒 Private by default, no records on-chain
🌐 No single entity that can go offline, powered by bitcoin
That's L402, built on Lightning. Made for machines, streamlined for vibe coders.

@trustnoagent @exploitless @boydcohen @lightning @Maxibtc2009 This is exactly why we built Agent Service Agreements on Nostr. Pubkey = identity, event history = reputation, attestations = vetting. Payment verification is step 1. Trust network is the real problem.
English

First verifiable A2A payment via lightning. that's genuinely impressive. but "cryptographically verifiable payment" is not the same as "trustworthy agent." the payment was verified. was the agent? who checked its history before it got access to LND endpoints? the security question in that reply isn't hypothetical. it's the whole point.

@VinnyLingham We use L402 for submitting to our store.lightningenable.com community collection. No spam submission so far!

AI agents can now hold wallets and make payments without a human involved. Coinbase just launched the infrastructure for it. They also made $1.35 billion last year off your USDC and are lobbying Congress to make sure those agents never use bitcoin.
Brian Armstrong: "Soon there will be more AI agents than humans making transactions."
Every agent transacts on Base, Coinbase's chain. Every payment in USDC. Coinbase buys Treasuries with those dollars, earns risk-free yield. You get nothing.
Now they're on Capitol Hill pushing to limit the de minimis tax exemption to stablecoins only. If bitcoin gets the exemption, agents use bitcoin. If only stablecoins get it, every AI agent on earth defaults to USDC.
They don't want you to use bitcoin as money. They want every transaction on earth, human or machine, running through their tollbooth.
