@patriot_apranik @Hermes_73 Any vehicle can in theory be used for protected purpose. Military CASEVAC is typically serviced by soldiers, but for the purpose to be eligable to protection of red cross or similar organization, they must be unarmed. Haven't noticed any weapons on the video.

🚨 Using ambulances for military operations is a literal WAR CRIME. The IRGC tried to use a Red Crescent vehicle as a Trojan horse to get close to the downed U.S. pilot in Iran. U.S. fighter jets saw right through the disguise and obliterated it! The Islamic Republic has a long history of hiding behind medical symbols to commit atrocities. But the U.S. military doesn't play games. Total dominance!

@patriot_apranik How did you determine that it was used contrary to the purpose? It's possible, but evidence? Most militaries have designated vehicles marked by red cross. Nominally, those should not be fired upon, although this often doesn't work in practice for one reason or another.

@DzamilaStehlik Ne, zázrak to není, je to výsledek desítek let investic do výcviku, lidí, výzbroje, a schopností na straně USA, relativního nedostatku toho všeho na straně Iránu. I tak to byla riziková akce v situaci kdy Iránské rakety a drony stále létají.

Proč je záchrana 2 pilotů F-15 zázrak? Proběhla hluboko v Íránu (ne na hranici) v prostředí s aktivní 🇮🇷 PVO; Amíci si zřídili dočasnou základnu přímo v centru Íránu a museli neutralizovat 🇮🇷 pátrací týmy pomocí dronů MQ Reaper; rozsah operace (stovky vojáků) je mimořádný!

@LtTimMcMillan @RX149427 If we would be talking about Fordow, then it's 80-90 meters deep, what was or was not collapsed is not clear, whether the place is rigged to blow up whatever is not yet destroyed is not clear, and Iranian ballistic missiles and drones are still flying.

French Gen. Michel Yakovleff saying that establishing an austere airbase inside Iran was crazy and that U.S. officials needed to "stop snorting cocaine" is now a TERRIBLE look for the French military. The U.S. did exactly that, just outside of Isfahan, FFS.

@realrileyhayes @TenzingLamsang Purpose of US bases in Greenland these days, is missile warning against missiles overflying arctic, mainly from Russia, maybe potentially from China but not sure about that. There is no actual interception capability there, though targeting data could be used for other sources.

@realrileyhayes @TenzingLamsang It was always known that NATO alliance does not extend to offensive wars of choice. It even doesn't extend to supporting external US allies, such as when USA resupplied Israel in 1973, the only NATO member that allowed use of bases and airspace was Portugal.

Something about this F15 crew rescue doesn't add up. Why would one need C130s (carry 60-70 troops) for rescuing one or two aircrew and maybe a few troops whose helicopter got shot down during the rescue. It looks more like spl forces were in a temporary base with C130s etc. 1/3
