I got into this race because the policies my opponent supports are terrible for working people. My entire life and this campaign have always been about standing up for something — for workers, for women, for the basic dignity that we deserve as humans. There are serious allegations against Congressman Miller that deserve the attention of law enforcement. I'm a father of two daughters, and I stand with all women and children who are victims of abuse. No one can be above the law, no matter what their bank account looks like or who is in their saved contacts. We will always stand up to bullies and abusers everywhere, whether they're in the workplace, in the home, or around the world.

I'm proud of the work we've done to get to this point, I'm proud the voters have chosen me to be their nominee in the general election, and I'm proud of the coalition we've built to fight for the working families of Ohio's 7th District.
