Titagarh Naval Systems has received in-principle approval from the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways for a ₹610 crore brownfield expansion of its shipyard at Falta in West Bengal.
The project will strengthen shipbuilding infrastructure and manufacturing capacity, with the government providing about ₹129 crore as capital assistance under the Shipbuilding Development Scheme.

Earlier, Government of West Bengal had purchased 200 Eicher PRO 6016N AC CNG Deluxe and Semi-Deluxe CNG buses for Kolkata and its adjoining routes. Out of the 200, only 100 have been added to the fleet.
With Uber Shuttle discontinuing, WBGov confirms that the additional 100 CNG buses will be soon introduced to meet the demand.

Off topic, but Uber Shuttle is leaving India now. All ops here at Kolkata will likely shift to Cityflo. Kolkata was their last city, they ended Delhi last week.
