I know my alphaflys hate to see me coming! Was gonna go for my usual half marathon but not enough time so I decided to run 10k as I felt inspired by the vitality10. Always had a long term goal of a sub50 and almost a year from my first 10k, I secured my goal Alhamdulillah

@5ivehad That’s really good mashallah, sign yourself up to a few 10k’s and half marathons. Good to get a feel of them, plus you’ll find the race day energy, crowds, and other runners speeds you up. I shaved a whole 10mins from my 10km pb, coming in at 44mins! Was gassed 🥲

On a personal one, speed sessions are insane, in like 4 sessions I’ve managed to shave off nearly 20 seconds per km I prob would’ve had a sub 20 5km in the bag by the end of the year if I was being more intentional with speed instead of focusing on endurance only but we move 🫡
