Today, I went to a meeting, and by coincidence, P’Est was there too. At first, I didn’t think much of it, we were both just there for our own work. After the meeting, my nong and I were just standing in front of the Pop Mart vending machine looking at it. We weren’t planning to buy anything because we didn’t have the budget.Then, out of nowhere, P’Est walked over and bought a blind box. He got a little shark, and it was really cute. As P’Est was about to leave, he suddenly turned around and asked, “Aren’t you going to buy one? I said “I don’t have the money. My salary hasn’t come out yet. Then P’Est said, “Do you want one? I’ll buy it for you.” At first, I thought he was just joking, so I pointed at the one I liked as a joke. But then P’Est actually put it in the basket and immediately took out his card and paid! My nong and I were screaming internally—we had no idea how to react. P’Est handed me the blind box, and then he bought another one for her too. When she opened hers, it turned out to be the character P’Est liked. She said, “If you like it, you can have it instead. I don’t mind.” But P’Est replied, “No. I bought it for you. Keep it.” Then pushed it right into her hands. Thank you so much, P’Est. I never imagined I’d have a moment where an artist would buy something for me like this. It became such a special early birthday present, and I’ll treasure it with great care. 🤍
