@mark11obrien @RailroadRacer49 @A_S12 @NASCAR I think Heim has a Toyota development contract that would prohibit him from driving a Chevy, so he’s probably unlikely to drive with HMS. But he’s my favorite current driver and It would be sick to see him anywhere full time.

From Monster to Rockstar ... Tyler Reddick will have a Rockstar car this year at select races, including Talladega. Will be interesting to see how 23XI navigates this with the Herbst-Monster relationship (which stems from the Herbst family owning convenience stores in Southwest).

@mmactenn @MattWeaverRA @JoeGibbsRacing Buddy,no team is letting someone stand direct at the box unless connected to the team, much less the qualifying wagon. Obviously you don’t know technology 40 years later, yes the spotter, driver communications is available on open comms, but they have private comms for team now.

It's also important to consider that Darlington, Martinsville, and Rockingham were the last three events and they are drawing from the same geographic area and many people can only choose to attend one or two of those.

I don't have any new takes to add on the subject of Bristol's attendance but what I will say is that economic factors matter given NASCAR's fanbase and what it takes to get out to a racetrack for the weekend. High gas prices, especially, aren't going to help. That was a big problem in 2008 as well when The Great Recession happened and NASCAR got hit pretty hard because of how their fanbase was affected.

Five cars failed twice during NASCAR Cup Series inspection at Bristol. Kyle Larson, Ross Chastain, Cole Custer and Chad Finchum lost their car chiefs and pit selection. Michael McDowell lost his engineer and pit selection.

Monitoring software on said company devices, key stroke software. That stuff has been around and in use for decades.
