Ecuador extends Latin America's recent trend of holding presidents to account for corruption. Court ruled today: 8 years for former President Correa, former VP Glas, 5 former Ministers, 2 congress members, and 6 private companies. In all 20 people were indicted. Go Ecuador!

A very important day for Anti #Corruption in Ecuador. Today the National Court ruled guilty to 20 processed in #Sobornos (ie #Bribery) case. Most of them will get 8 yrs in jail. With indictment of ex president #Correa he cannot run for office for 25yrs.

Zero tolerance? Swedbank CEO: We have always had zero tolerance. Law firm Clifford Chance's analysis: While Swedbank’s efforts were at times inadequate or incomplete, our investigation did not conclude that Swedbank tolerated actual money laundering. So that's all right then?
