Many people are struggling to reach their GPs via phone, never mind face-to-face. Ill people remain undiagnosed. This obsession with Covid means people with other serious illnesses are being neglected. The NHS backlog is growing as a result of protecting the NHS from Covid.

At 4am yesterday morning, 11 countries were removed from the red list. At 4pm yesterday all 650 MP's went on annual leave until January. Guess who doesn't need a vaccine passport to travel. Yep you guessed it, MP's. Seeing it yet?

@wesstreeting Moron, maybe the money we've put into the failed track and trace should've gone to the NHS and all the money spent on covid measures into the NHS and it wouldn't be underfunded and we wouldn't have to 'protect' it. Also maybe don't fire staff in April who don't have the jab 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t know why this has to be explained again and again. We need to protect the NHS and prevent it from toppling over. It’s why Labour will support the measures today and why we urge everyone to get the booster vaccine.
