Being a dog lover and a cops wife, I find this heartbreaking. But the one thing my husband told me when we first started dating was that cops can use lethal force on a dog—no questions We had 5 dogs during our marriage and he loved them all. But on the job that was his training and dept policy. I didn’t agree and thought it was barbaric. I don’t know the situation here and I give this lady my deepest condolences on losing her pet.
