@BBHyeol1485 all members, how can you dismiss 6/9 of the fandom's experience, and come away from this thinking there was no damage and hurt done to the 6 other members as well? instead of wanting to compete in the "who had it worse" olympics, let's dig deeper how it all ended this way

It's strange, i don't miss old exo at all anymore. After all these months of hate, mockery, boycott + smear campaigns against the 6 members, especially the vicious witchhunt for junmyeon, all sentimental affection died in me. cbx fans gradually turned ppl off with their behavior

@tumcial_91 i agree, while others get coddled still to this day after everything that came to light. i'm still proud of bnzens who pushed back despite being a smaller fandom. we were bullied to the ground, called too sensitive & akgaes but look what kind of system they were protecting

@marshurdle but they were always so quick to flip on jm whenever they felt like it. we only started retaliating very recently bcoz we honestly had enough and we were immediately called names simply because we stopped being the doormat for this fandom

@tumcial_91 Exactly, stuff like this piled up & created these weird uneven dynamics over time, where it got so normalized to make fun of jm. i don't think should be too hard on urself - just bc jm stayed kind & patient when being teased, it doesn't mean he's everyone's fair game for bullying

@tumcial_91 back then there was an unspoken rule to never drag other members. u could have your preferences & opinions, but if they are hurtful to others, better keep them to yourself. i've never seen such heinous attacks like those for OT6. it completely broke my trust & good faith

@tumcial_91 jm has also been my bias since 2013, and i always felt the fandom's view & treatment of him had been strange & lopsided from the beginning. but most fans, me included, were all blinded by this fantasy of the perfect ot9 bond. we ignored and brushed aside a lot of fandom faults

@beanieb3ni them or treat them as mere background dancers or nanny leaders to their main character fave. i know there are always akgaes in every fandom, but this whole situation exposed: it was an entire normalized system for exols

@seholo_ So true. I remember Luhan & Tao more fondly bc their departure was way more respectful, this time it feels like straight up war. Idk how much everyone was able to speak up, but yeah i'm disappointed about the deception and no attempts of easing the tension between fans
