Neguse: Where is this company headquartered? Noem: I don’t know. Neguse: I don’t know either. We can’t find it. We did find an address that’s registered to a political operative. This company that received 143 million dollars was incorporated 8 days before this contract went out. You want the American people to believe that this is all above board, that $143 million of taxpayer money just happened to go to this one company that doesn't have a headquarters, doesn't have a website, has never done work for the federal government before and is registered apparently or attached to a residence from a political operative, and of course one of the subcontractors of that contract, as you know, is a political firm that's tied to, to you back when you were governor of South Dakota?

It's really bizarre to see a bunch of ostensibly pro-market, right-leaning tech guys argue, "A private company asserting the right to decide what contracts it enters into is antithetical to democratic government"

Anthropic and Alignment Anthropic is in a standoff with the Department of War; while the company's concerns are legitimate, it position is intolerable and misaligned with reality. stratechery.com/2026/anthropic…

San Francisco’s hottest new coffee shop is Hedge. It has everything: Matcha oat milk lattes. Stanford-educated chemist baristas. Saharan psychedelic desert rock vinyl sourced from Japan. 3D printed countertops. Neutral tone dress code. Men in wide legged pants. $8 drips.

Crazy how once you start using it, you could literally spend all day in Claude Code. It's an entire new way to interact with the internet.

Did malware write this? But seriously *do not do this* on a machine that touches any information you don’t want hacked/leaked, any software you don’t want remote exploited, any tasks that you don’t want compromised…

I highly recommend everyone starts using @openclaw immediately. Start using it as you would do a human assistant that can do anything on your computer. That will start saving an entire database of your actions, preferences, connections, likes, dislikes, how you interface with the world - everything. Do this ESPECIALLY if you are an entrepreneur. As models get better, and companies/open source starts really scaling up agentic breakthroughs, this database will give you a "save file" that models with ever-increasing capability to can use to INSTANTLY pick up where you left off. This will be a gigantic hack into getting a massive head-start in the agentic revolution. Very explicit example: I've been using OpenClaw for almost a week. It's amazing. I love it so much. But it's not perfect. But a model by the end of 2026 will surely exist that will blow Opus 4.6's capability out of the water. At a much cheaper cost. Or xAI might ship a LEGIT "digital human" - aka an AI agent on steroids - that will be the full realization of a do-anything agent. All I have to do with those new agents is point them at my openclaw files to learn from it and pick up where we left off, which will have at least 10 months of extremely pertinent, super valuable data about everything. Don't wait. Start now.

I'm among the hundreds of people laid off by The Post. This comes six months after hearing in a national meeting that race coverage drives subscriptions. This wasn't a financial decision, it was an ideological one.

What's the case for maintaining your Washington Post subscription? Seriously, a lesser newspaper in every way for the same price. Convince me.

I am preparing MIT Technology Review's infamous list of "worst" technologies of the year. What are 2025's biggest failures, set backs, and misfires but which also hold useful lessons about technology? I think Cybertruck has to be on the list. Tell me your picks👇!!

Sometimes, the demo just doesn't work. At Meta Connect, Mark Zuckerberg's showcase for how AI can help a chef put together a BBQ sauce came to an awkward end.
