really wild that of all that could be holding back FDA-approved, pharmaceutical psychedelics, the major issue seems to be functional unblinding. go back 20, or 60 years & tell someone the reason psychedelic therapy isn't clearing the FDA is you can't trick someone into not knowing whether they're on mushrooms, and that'd probably have been the last possible thing they would've expected to be the obstacle
