Even when it wasn’t convenient. Last Tuesday, my landlord texted me. Your rent is due. And my bank account was already crying. She said I was wicked for stopping without proper notice. Proper notice… for my own money? 😭 She even said I was trying to make her lose her job. Since that day? Total silence. She views my WhatsApp status. Ignores my calls. But here’s the part that shocked me 😳 Some mutual friends said I was wrong. That I should have given her at least one week notice before stopping. Notice… for helping? So now I’m confused and asking. At what point does help turn into entitlement? Was I wrong to stop immediately? If you were in my shoes, what would you have done? Pls be honest. People finding this hard to believe must be new to Finance or just being oblivious. I have a similar story. 2022-2023 was worth solid 5figs (say 50-90k) I was feeling fly. Then otherside mint came. I've had the privilege of minting 2 moonbirds and made over $50K off them So, otherside seems like a no-brainer Bought $54K worth of $APE at $21. Splitted in my wallets. Everything seems ready. Mint Day, greatest gas war of Crypto happened. I couldn't even mint. $APE was dumping fast. Transactions wasn't going on Uniswap to swap back. Paid $3K in gas fees to send the token back to FTX. Lo and behold, I sent to the wrong wallet. Opened a dispute, took weeks to respond. By the time I got a response, the $54k was already $12k Tried to run the $12k up, went down to $6k Then FTX downcrash came. Never thought the exchange would go to 0. It did, and with it my remaining capital. Salvaged what I had on Dex and other wallets. Approx $2k Revenge traded with Lev. It went to $500. I withdrew the last $500 to eat. So, if you think it's impossible to go to zero from $700k or $1M, think again. You don't even need to Just some set of Bad lucks.
