@miket136 @Garnet_2203 Ya its gunna fail. I looked into it, we have a constitutional right to MAID, the supreme court ruled so in 2015 apparently. Carter v canada. I assumed they did since like i said since we have it lol. Apparently not allowing would violate section 7.

Danielle Smith has no right to control when people who are terminally ill and suffering can die. These are human beings in unbearable pain people facing the end of their lives, asking for dignity and peace. Taking that choice away isn’t care. It’s control. And the reality is, when you remove compassionate options, you risk leaving people feeling even more desperate and alone. Albertans deserve better.

The CP Styleguide in no-way “established” ethical principles for journalism, what a ridiculous statement.

It matters because it establishes standard guidelines & ethical principles that help people have trust in journalism. It's the people & media orgs that ignore it; particularly the ethical aspects, that erode trust in actual journalism.

@audragabrielle_ Its demonstrably not, which is why various outlets may choose to adopt it or not, or to create their own. It’s a guide written by a private company with no force or effect outside their own employees.
