What’s the difference in a government that starts handing out weekly executive orders and a dictatorship? Seems like every week when I get to school there are new arbitrary rules that we have to follow.

@theblaze Hahahahahahaha yea right. I’m unvaccinated and this is hilarious to me. I don’t need millions of people walking around outside in masks to protect me. This is becoming a joke if it wasn’t already one. Maybe people should try being healthy? Anyone ever gonna recommend exercise?

If there were massive issues brought on by mask-free sports in Iowa and Missouri, we would’ve heard in IL. No issue with masks on the bench or at school but let kids play unrestricted. They’ve dealt with enough already.

@coachbdixon @IHSA_IL My guess is the people making rules and legislation have never been essentially waterboarded by a sweaty mask. They should hop on a treadmill with one on until they’re good and sweaty and see what it’s like. Preach importance of precautions away from the court, screen, and play.

I'm an @IHSA_IL official and a coach. I'm watching a HS basketball game online where the officials and the coaches are allowing the players to play with their masks around their neck. Whether you agree with the rules or not, this should be non-negotiable. Very frustrating....

Thanks @GovPritzker for allowing sports again, but the timing is interesting. More cases in IL now than in the fall. What changed? Didn’t think you’d punish all of the kids in the state over some political BS. I’m very tired of BAD people being in positions of power.

Crazy. Happening right across the river. Not mad at them for playing but it’s hard to watch and hear about while Illinois can’t do anything. It’s gotta be about more than Covid. Some powerful people in IL are making money by being closed. Only answer that makes sense.

People are idiots. The stuff happening today is the stuff I used to see on tv and think, “I’m glad that doesn’t happen in America”. No matter what side you are on, this crap isn’t solving anything.

People worry about how quickly we can pump out expensive meds for Covid but nobody is talking about actually getting healthy. Wasn’t it Hippocrates who said “let thy food be thy medicine”? Ever heard of the Hippocratic Oath? The dude knew his stuff 2400 yrs ago. Still true today.
