@PapaDragon331 Have you seen the amount of corrective rape threats they get? Asking young women to talk about themselves their relationship and their sexuality does not come free of risk for them, if you are engaging with good intentions that is not the question you would ask nor the place.

@PapaDragon331 Yes, I do believe that the journalist who does not cover wnba and is not familiar with queer women or Black women has not engaged in the discourse with the level of understanding and sensibility that is required. So yes I do think we as a society need to do better.

Just my opinion: This is a fair question given the uniqueness of the situation as well as they are two very important players in the league.
I also have no issue with Wings PR stepping in here. Management makes a decision how they want to handle this in an open presser and that's what they decided.
If Fudd or Bueckers want to address it, they have agency and will do so or not.
It's an interesting media dynamic.
