@TheRealAHughesy @grownuppunk @paul950371 @greendragonhq @EricLDaugh Ah yes, the first amendment right to protest has never had any point or purpose. We should just accept whatever rules and regulations the government enacts like good little boys and girls. Let’s rebuild homes (so corporations can buy them and sell them for 3x market value)

🚨 HOLY CRAP! It's just been confirmed that the California Democrat government is PAYING leftist protestors over $100 MILLION dollars, a jaw-dropping amount of funds that go to anti-American causes CAM HIGBY: "CHIRLA has taken over $100M alone in tax-payer funds according to the state expenditure website." "Based on their website, CHIRLA's primary function is protest-related activities and left-wing advocacy. They have been protesting and advocating since 1986 and take credit for some Newsom policies." There it is. IMAGINE THAT. The people must be refunded, @GavinNewsom!

🚨🧵CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT PAYING PROTESTORS OVER $100M I have discovered that the state of California is using taxpayer funds to subsidize non-profit organizations whose core function is to organize protests. CHIRLA (@CHIRLA) has taken over $100M alone in tax-payer funds according to the state expenditure website. Based on their website, CHIRLA's primary function is protest-related activities and left-wing advocacy. They have been protesting and advocating since 1986 and take credit for some Newsom policies. @TexelElf @seibeltron @cmartin380 @elonmusk we haven’t seen. Definitely not near in the future or anything, just wanted to give my opinion that there is a point where govts should be involved like that, but we aren’t close to it in any way

@TexelElf @seibeltron @cmartin380 @elonmusk I should clarify, when I was talking about the “do or die” point I was referring to a theoretical future decision where we either cannibalize our economy or die out (whether it be a nation or our modern society as a whole). That in itself would require a number of catalysts that

Grok 4.20 is BASED. The only AI that doesn’t equivocate when asked if America is on stolen land. The others are weak sauce.

@TexelElf @seibeltron @cmartin380 @elonmusk And I would actually say there IS a point where governments ought to do that, but we haven’t reached that point yet, not even close luckily. We are on a rocky path, but nowhere near the point of do or die yet, unless I’m truly blissfully unaware of how fucked we are

@monkey3monkey2 @seibeltron @cmartin380 @elonmusk Billionaires aren't swimming in piles of cash like Scrooge McDuck, though, their wealth is in ownership over companies. Ought government force them to sell and/or appropriate those companies? I would argue no, since government does nothing well, other than exacting force.

@TexelElf @seibeltron @cmartin380 @elonmusk It’s a problem deeply ingrained into the system we enacted. Frankly I’m not nearly qualified enough to even attempt to figure out the answer to this problem (not an economist, haven’t deeply researched “the billionaire problem”). Maybe I’m too optimistic, but I can envision (1/2)

@wcpeper @harryjsisson My anger comes from people expecting other people to believe screenshots in a day where we can put anybody’s face on somebody else’s. It’s basic research rules. If you don’t post the source, it isn’t credible. Anybody can say it came from an fbi report (1/2)

@TexelElf @seibeltron @cmartin380 @elonmusk We have more than enough resources to at least improve the world at this point. I get we can’t help everyone, it probably wouldn’t be sustainable but I haven’t done research on that and can’t feasibly speak on it. (2/2)

@monkey3monkey2 @seibeltron @cmartin380 @elonmusk Something that could only be achieved in a world that lacked scarcity, and if we managed to remove avarice from human nature. But as you say, we didn't evolve that way: the winners reproduced and the losers are lost to time.

@TexelElf @seibeltron @cmartin380 @elonmusk At this point, I wouldn’t call resources scarce. The biggest nations and the most powerful people are hoarding as much as they can. I mean it’s kind of a meme at this point, but have you seen the website that compares Bezos’s wealth to different things? (1/2)

@TexelElf @seibeltron @cmartin380 @elonmusk Tell me what is the actual point of taking over land rather than helping people develop that land and their civilization? The fear of betrayal of course, the fear of not being the strongest. So from my perspective, we can never be one without a greater enemy than other humans

@Sahil_Bhaila @cmartin380 @elonmusk The killing was not an intentional act. Many died because of the spread of disease and science wasn't advanced to understand pathogens by then
