Being a female driver in Owerri will humble you 😭
I don’t even do night rides, but day was dry… no work at all.
So when the request came in, I said let me just manage it.
I picked up 2 guys, normal ride… few minutes into the trip they went quiet.
Next thing I noticed from my mirror… one of them kept looking at me, smiling in a way I didn’t understand.
My heart started beating fast 💔
I quietly reduced my speed and parked where there were people and light.
Immediately I stopped, I turned and said “please this is where your trip ends.”
Omo the way they were shocked ehn 😭
One even said “ahh ma we didn’t do anything na”
I said “I know… but i can’t continue I’m sorry .
They came down, didn’t even complete my payment… but I didn’t mind.
At that point, my safety was more important than money.

How did ₦80,000,000 vanished from our company's account.?
Our boss arrested those in the accounting department.
While we were loading a customer's product at the factory,
My boss called for an emergency staff meeting. When we got to the office, we saw that police had already arrived..
That was when I know that something is definitely going on..
"Who moved out ₦80,000,000 from the company's account?.."
He revealed that ₦30,000,000 was moved out from the account last year..
And they sacked 5 staffs that same day who they suspected.
Now the same thing has repeated again and this time,It was ₦80,000,000.
The money was moved out 2 months before he discovered it..
This morning, we got the shocking news, it was someone we never expected that moved the money..
He confessed after they got serious torture.
He said he used some of the money to fund his marriage.
He was also the same person that moved the previous missing money that got 5 staffs sacked..
The same wedding we attended to three weeks ago..
The boss even have him ₦500,000 that day..
He was asked to provide the remaining amount and guess what?
He said it's just ₦7,000,000 that is remaining..
How can you spend ₦73,000,000 in two months!??
No car, no house, he said he made no investments!!..
He's still in the custody.

One of my friends reached out to me about something suspicious.
A girl he used to date a long time ago suddenly messaged him saying she was diagnosed with fibroid (5cm) and needed surgery that would cost 1m. She said she had 500k already and begged him to support with anything he could.
Here is the strange part.
All this while, my friend has been keeping in touch with her over time, sending messages, but she never responds. Suddenly now, she needs money and she’s chatting him.
He asked for a video call or even voice call just to confirm it was really her, but she kept refusing, saying she was too weak to talk and they should keep typing only.
Now he doesn’t know if it’s truly her in need or if her WhatsApp account has been hacked.
In this kind of situation, what would you do? Send the money out of compassion or insist on proper verification first?

I think people may be asking the wrong question about a potential $BASE airdrop.
The question is not whether there will be an airdrop.
The real question is:
Can a network this large still run a traditional airdrop?
Think about it.
Base just highlighted 171,763 new addresses in one day.
At that scale, a normal “reward early users” model starts breaking.
Because the larger a network gets, the harder it becomes to solve three things:

> and what a fair distribution even looks like
The sybil problem gets bigger.

When I lost my husband, my mum advised me to make sure I wore my husband’s clothe and boxers to bed until he was buried. Ofcourse, I was curious so I asked, “Why?”

I remember laughing. It didn’t make sense to me. It sounded like one of those old beliefs that people follow without questioning. So, in my mind, I dismissed it.
In those first nights, I wore my usual nightwear. The first night passed. Then the second.
But the third night… was different.
Somewhere in the middle of the night, I slipped into a state that felt too real to be a dream. I became aware—deeply aware—of a presence in the room.
I saw him.
My husband.
He moved toward the bed and gently—but deliberately—squeezed himself into the space between me and the other window who came to keep me company. Slowly, he settled in, backing the woman but facing me, his right arm stretched across me… our familiar sleeping position.
In that moment, my heart was pounding. My mind was racing.
Did he know I knew he was gone?
So many thoughts flooded me at once:
Should I shout?
Should I pray?
Should I wake up?
Or should I stay still?
I lay there, caught between fear, love, and disbelief… until I finally forced myself awake.
The moment I opened my eyes, I didn’t hesitate.
I got up, walked straight to his closet, took one of his T-shirts and his boxers, and put them on 🤣🤣. From that night until he was buried, I followed my mum’s advice—without question.🤔
Since then, I’ve come to accept something I once doubted: there are mysteries in this world that we may never fully understand.
And sometimes, it’s not about explaining them… it’s about respecting them.

After significant technical diligence and deliberation, the Security Council identified and executed a technical approach to move funds to safety without affecting any other chain state or Arbitrum users. As of April 20 11:26pm ET the funds have been successfully transferred to an intermediary frozen wallet. They are no longer accessible to the address that originally held the funds, and can only be moved by further action by Arbitrum governance, which will be coordinated with relevant parties.

When the woman who spoke about a bread lasting 2 months shared the letter from the lawyer, I saw people saying that she didn't mention any name and that the case would fail.
At that point, I remembered that warning, which must have come to any lawyer at some point: "Don't take everything a side tells you as all that is to the matter".
Lawyer who have practiced long enough among us know that there's almost always more to a case than what your client tells you.
This morning, I saw the version by the CEO of Bon bread. She said these words, verbatim:
"She said she didn't mention Bon bread. She said she never said anything about Bon bread, but people in her comment mentioned Bon bread and she liked those comments".
The tort of defamation extends to a business. Anyone who has done enough on defamation knows that this fact fundamentally changes the entire dynamics. If I say that a politician is a thief and someone comes under the tweet to mention a politician's name and I endorse such mention with a "like", I can no longer say that I didn't mention a name.
Lawyers must always be careful of hasty and impulsive comments on issues. When the dust settles, there's ultimately no award for the first to comment. Don't put yourself out there when you're unripe. People will remember your views. You cannot afford to comment like random men and women.
We must be very circumspect. People who have serious businesses and matters that require engaging a lawyer will not pick you just because you're the fastest to drop an opinion on a point.
For one, something deeply told me that the lawyer would not have authored a letter to that woman without further facts.

I did this in my former apartment for 2 months and absolutely regretted it.
Gave my passwords to my neighbors. Told them it was unlimited.
I learned the hard way that unlimited meant different things for different people.
For me, it meant being online permanently. Streaming and working was now seamless.
For my neighbors, it meant unlimited downloads.
Walahi, I couldn’t use it.
These guys were downloading 100gb torrents and slowing the speed for everyone.
I had to go over and tell them. “It is unlimited. Get on Netflix or prime and stream what you want to watch”
I could only talk.
They were still downloading. In fact, a particular neighbor brought his friends to come and download and go home.
I couldn’t use it because downloading slows down speed for everyone else.
Woke up one morning and changed the password. Problem solved.
