Sunday reminder: Republicans are calling for a civil war while the Democrats are calling for: - Fully funded public education and ending the voucher scam that funnels public dollars to for-profit companies - Full legalization and regulation of cannabis to ensure that adults have access to safe products, and children are not able to access at all. - Restoring the rights of women to choose what happens in their own bodies, so that our laws no longer mirror those of third world countries. - Ending gerrymandering once and for all by passing a Texas constitutional amendment that requires all district maps to be created by independent non-partisan agencies. - Lowering the local tax burden by using the state sales tax revenue appropriately, and distributing it to local municipalities for school funding and infrastructure so they no longer have to raise local tax rates to survive - Texas campaign finance reform calling for full transparency, easily tracked reporting, and source donation caps. - Real focus on water conservation projects that benefit our farmers and ranchers - not JUST Ai data centers. - Ending rural healthcare deserts by providing much needed access from anywhere in the state. And those things simply aren’t profitable for them… We want to improve every day lives. They want to keep us fighting our neighbors while they laugh all the way to the bank.
