Found this beauty today in an antique shop. Carved mirror and marble top but the prize is for the drawer joinery. The Knapp Joint is unique style of joinery. The Knapp is a very strong form of drawer joinery but was only utilized from 1870 until about 1900.

New pegboard for a commercial bakery to organize their cookie cutters. They asked if we could get them 60square feet of plastic/washable pegboard to put the cutters on, hoping this is better than rummaging through tubs to find the right one. #handyman #landjservices #cookies

Restoring rattan furniture set for a customer. Been an honor to restore this rattan set for a Brockton customer, part of their family for 80 years. It was made in the Philippines, some labels still intact. Going to be sorry to see it go back to it’s 3 season porch.

Rescued wood wall. Customer asks, “Can you take this plain white wall in our 3 season room and cover it with rescued wood?” I say, “no problem.”

Wedding anniversary!! 39 years ago today I married my best friend. At the end of each day I’m still in a hurry to get home. 39 years, 7 kids, 2 granddaughters and countless meals and loads of laundry. God is good and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Rainy afternoon so I headed to the shop and made the chicks a bigger gravity feeder. Fixed a problem and used up some scraps, win-win. #backyardchickens #timeintheworkshop

Penofin rosewood oil on a mahogany deck. Never would have believed I could oil a deck in the middle of November. A sunny 50 degree day and a south facing deck. Took all day to sand and oil but it looks great, ready for winter. #LandJservices #penofin #mahoganydeck
