Conservation work on the Dormition Cathedral, which sustained the most damage from Russian drones, has already been completed. The cathedral’s roof has been covered so that the condition of the building does not deteriorate due to weather conditions. We are preparing the restoration of the cathedral, and this is already the responsibility, in particular, of Ukraine’s Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Recently, during a meeting with the President of Switzerland, we agreed that our partners would support the initial steps of restoration, and it is important that the full result also be properly ensured. Minister Klymenko also reported on the involvement of the State Emergency Service and other components of Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs system in dealing with the aftermath of Russian strikes in our other regions. Separately, we discussed the tasks of the National Guard of Ukraine, the National Police, and the State Border Guard Service units in defending our state on the front. Some days it’s about “freeing” the Iranian people from their theocratic government, a farcical rationale since he is bombing and murdering those very same people. Still other days he says that it’s about opening the Strait of Hormuz, which would have never even closed in the first place if Trump hadn’t attacked. Cassidy is right not to back down. He already lost his reelection bid, Trump has no leverage left to exploit. We just wish that for once a Republican would grow a spine before their political future collapsed. Every single one of them knows that Trump is a demented, incompetent failure. They’re just afraid of angering him and losing his base. History will rightfully label them cowards. Ukrainian soldiers rescued a dog. The dog was carried out in soldiers' arms from a settlement that has been almost completely destroyed by the war. Vesta is now staying at a shelter in Kyiv. She is intelligent, people-oriented, and desperately needs a family of her own. Due to prolonged starvation, she is still cautious around food, but she is gradually recovering.
