I just returned from the Women Education Leaders In Virginia (WELV) conference in Charlottesville. The last two days have been filled with so much inspiration and reflection. I am grateful to our Region 4 RAS, Penny Gros, for giving us this learning opportunity!

Tonight was truly beautiful @CFESRedBirds Our 5th and 6th grade chorus had their Winter Concert tonight. It felt so special to have our community together! Our music teachers are super talented and chose songs that represented and honored our students!

Our Social Committee @CFESRedBirds made a lot of people smile today! We had Trunk or Treat and a staff luncheon. I love the way they pulled our community together!

We enjoyed our field trip to the National Gallery of Art, where we explored POG attributes by being Creative and Critical Thinkers to examine a deeper understanding of modern art in different mediums. @CFESRedBirds @mrsfmdrake

Happy #HispanicHeritageMonth! From September 15 to October 15 we recognize and celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of the members of our community whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

Week 2 joy @CFESRedBirds! Teachers engaged at CLT, students enjoying specials, lunch and engaged in learning! What more could we ask for! This was a wonderful week!

Thank you to Coach Kim and the first graders for letting me enjoy one my favorite kid activities… the parachute. It was so much fun! The smiles and excitement we felt was infectious!

Our Mighty Red Birds on the News Crew are amazing! They run the production under the guidance of Ms. Ulrich and Mrs. Hawk. It was super impressive but the thing I loved the most was watching them reflect afterwards. FCPS POG in action!
