Rolls-Royce's Power Systems division and Lürssen Yacht Refit & Services have signed a framework agreement that regulates the co-operation in the overhaul of mtu propulsion systems and will further improve the service for yacht customers. lnkd.in/e8C2qhJ3

Rolls-Royce and rail operator NETINERA have signed a further contract for the complete overhaul of around 170 rail mtu PowerPacks. The agreement runs until 2028 and provides for the complete overhaul of the PowerPacks using the so-called reman process. lnkd.in/eNzF7aDf

We take care of our customers rail engines during their entire life cycle – and beyond! All parts being feasible for re-use are remanufactured in a state-of-the-art industrial process. The result is an engine in technical condition “as new”.

Our EnergyPack QG battery storage systems are in demand. They are the ideal battery energy storage system for integrating high shares of renewable energy into the electric power grid. It's storage capacity ranges from 4.47 MWh to over 100 MWh.

We have already received orders for mtu gas engines as propulsion systems and on-board gensets for a total of eleven ships worldwide. These include ferries, tugs and government vessels. The mtu gas engines are below the limit values of current emission guidelines without EAGT.

Our offering, which covers the entire life cycle of our engines and systems, can also help increase sustainability. A key factor here is remanufacturing. The result: a product that is as good as a new one, performs like new, and offers the same reliability as a new product.

150 mtu Kinetic PowerPacks – that is the approximate number of systems we have an installed and in operation in Brazil. This month, we launched a new overhaul facility dedicated to caring for these power generation products in Brazil.
