1/2 SURE! Manifesting you see this Goreporn essentially means Gore for the sake of Gore,, a film that doesn’t really have that much story and is extremely Gore driven,, usually features: Mutilation / torture and extreme Visceral violence,, Etc etc- vinsmokesshithouse.straw.page

@UncleJansom YESSS exactly!!! Even as an adult, I feel like it would still hurt like it did when I was little, if not more! Most slides dont hurt because they loop around and you go at a good pace down them, but those slides? You just fall straight down, it hurts!!

@murdererwives DAAAAMN! I know it's not exact one, but I get a better idea now! Naaaah, that's crazy. As an adult I probably would try it (or not, it depends on the moment I guess), but as a kid? Hell no I'm leaving the country.

@UncleJansom Honestly, it’s a major case of the book being sensitized for the better. Some of, if not most the things said would not fly with audiences that’s for sure. It’s interpretation of Bateman is also interesting, he’s definitely far more violent and does much more than in the movie

@murdererwives or straight up inferior or more vulgar, in the worse sense. AP had this unique mode of playing with both sick stuff and dark humor stuff, blending it together quite well. Depending on who's the director and who writes the remake, I don't know if they could pull that off again.

@UncleJansom It was something like this…one of those ones that is extremely vertical…you can imagine why a younger me wasnt so sure of it… its not this exact one, but quite close!

@murdererwives It looks harmless enough, but depending on how you throw into it, you may bump all the way down and become a snowball in the proccess (which happened to me or to some people as far as I know LOL).

@UncleJansom actors keep turning down the role of Patrick Bateman. Don’t think any explicit reason has been given as to why, but I imagine its a big role to fill also the og novel is…quite vulgar and offensive to put it lightly, so if they’re going for accuracy, that may be another reason

@UncleJansom The Hannibal novels are among some of my favorites! I’ve read Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs so many times! Hannibal and Hannibal Rising I was never particularly as invested in. American Psycho is supposed to be getting a remake, but from what i’ve heard-

@UncleJansom I remember one day I was pressured into going on them, and I remember feeling myself almost going over the edge…also it honestly kind of hurt me afterwards…so I never went on those again safe to say!

@UncleJansom Ohhh boy i’ve been on some crazy ones. There was a few I was always particularly scared of, because they were so tall, and had little to no guarding to keep you from going over the edge. Ever since I was younger I always wondered how on earth that could be safe

@UncleJansom I haven’t yet! So far as I can recall i’ve read Psycho’s novel, American Psycho, The Hannibal novels, The Exorcist, and The Shining (These ones i’ve read specifically in more recent times) American Psycho is probably the most drastically different on I think i’ve read thus far
