@WalterWhit23674 @riegaan Better to support your team than be in a library doing nothing while watching the game
English

@riegaan German fans travel to England and don’t even watch the match. Have their back turned on the game shouting into a microphone and banging a drum. Just find it weird personally I agree it’s shite.
English

German football culture is just singing constantly regardless of what happens on the pitch, you could be blind and not have a clue what’s going on. It’s crap.
𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐔𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥@thecasualultra
Same level. Different feeling. One stadium is full. The other one is alive. 🏴
English

@palace_1990 @riegaan @pmclaren94 That’s because it is the Americanized crap you have now. Because you literally let the foreign billionaires buy all your clubs and make them into theme park entertainment 😂😂 get fucked
English

@riegaan @pmclaren94 Everyone thinks English football culture is the Americanised crap we have now, give me proper English culture over this “ultra” bollocks
English

@padraig2410 @Jonaaaaaaaaa1 @riegaan So you enjoy the benefits of living in Germany while hating on it from all sides. Go fuck yourself, I hope we deport you alongside the “refugees”
English

@StevieB81579946 @Jonaaaaaaaaa1 @riegaan Your culture is creating libraries of football matches, that’s a fact.
English

@Jonaaaaaaaaa1 @riegaan We have a bigger football culture than the Germans and that’s a fact
English

@mx38123 @sjurgs @riegaan Yes, they’re fans actually react to what’s on the pitch. Germany has one goal end singing their usual melodies while the rest sit on their arses. Even in their big rival games.
How is that better than a whole stadium standing up reacting spontaneously to events on the pitch?
English

@RH_1872 @sjurgs @riegaan Oh like gala fans whistling the whole Liverpool game? Thats not reactive, it’s repetitive. Thats also patently false in German rivalry games, people react and we have a variety of different songs and certainly far more than you do. The songs depend on how the game’s going.
English

@LCFCAL801 @riegaan Congrats on not supporting your team when they’re losing… just told on yourself.
English

@EastleighKIKI @riegaan Leverkusen has one of the worst fan scenes in Germany, lmao. No one respects them.
English

@Marcus70672192 @riegaan The players get whistled if it’s clear they don’t care. The atmosphere also changes and so do the songs depending on what stage of the game is going on or how they’re doing. You just can’t understand the language so you default to “it’s worse” bc you have nothing yourself
English

@sjurgs @riegaan Utter drivel. It’s going over no-one’s heads.
It’s monotonous tunes that every club in Germany seems to share.
The likes of Scotland, Netherlands & Turkey have got it spot on. The overall stadium atmosphere takes priority rather than just the Ultras and their boring melodies.
English

@cammymathieson @thecasualultra LOL 3 tunes just goes to show how little you actually understand. There are tens if not hundreds, and they go depending on the state of the game. You can’t understand the language so you automatically discount it
English

@thecasualultra 300 people bouncing and chanting the same 3 tunes is far from alive. It’s like white noise to the players. The British reactive atmosphere that ebbs and flows shits all over that.
English

@Marcus70672192 @riegaan That’s called supporting your team to the death, something the epl library fans wouldn’t understand
English

@mx38123 @Rdesign1231 Since it is an open sale, I’m afraid it will just be bots buying them all for resale and I still won’t get any.
English

🚨💣 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄: FIFA are preparing aggressive marketing pushes and last-minute promotions to increase buzz around the upcoming World Cup.
Despite it being the first-ever 48-team tournament, ticket sales are lagging and stadiums are far from sold out with just months to go.
Possible ticket price adjustments to spark demand and fill seats are also on being considered.

English

@TheJayUNF @Rdesign1231 Yeah completely agree. Curious to see what this final sales phase is going to be. bc all the tickets on the “outside” reseller sites are all the same/similar prices, indicating there really aren’t that many for sale….
English

@mx38123 @Rdesign1231 It is a self inflicted issue. Myself, three of my friends, and both of my brothers have been denied all three times.
Want to sell more tickets? Let people buy tickets.
English

@TheJayUNF @Rdesign1231 I can’t understand how ticket sales are apparently low when I’ve been able to get literally 0 tickets
English

@Rdesign1231 Price isn’t that expensive. For group games in Atlanta, it’s $140-220. Even the first knockout game is $200.
The issue is I, and thousands of others, literally can’t buy them. All of my lottery entries have been rejected.
English

they call it ‘extremism’
when they should call it ‘hope’
The Daily Sneed™@Tr00peRR
‘Children and teenagers chanted the far-right slogan “foreigners out, Germany for the Germans” at a “teen disco” with participants as young as 11, underlining the extent to which political extremism has become normalised….
