Did he know the media and Democrats would try to sabotage the operation politically? YES. Did he know oil and gas prices might temporarily rise? YES. Was he probably advised not to do it? Very likely. Did he receive the same intelligence briefings every President has received for the past 47 years? YES. So the real question is not what did he know? The real question is: Why did he do it anyway? COURAGE. Trump is not a politician. He is a leader. And leaders don’t make decisions based on polls.
