Today marks 14 years since MADNESS: PROJECT NEXUS (CLASSIC) was posted to @Newgrounds by @Krinkels and @ThatOlSwain. Nearly 25 MILLION plays later, it's since turned into a full-ass game @MProjectNexus

I know this is old and silly, but I look back at this one fondly because it taught me a lot about animation by just copying movement from the movie. As a kid I was inspired to make sprite cartoons after watching ROTMK on NG, which I ended up making sprites for as well (part 3&4)

Before the internet was a thing in 1996, Newgrounds was used to be a fanzine for the console Neo Geo by the name "New Ground". Tom Fulp published New Ground from his parents' basement in Perkasie, PA, sending sporadic issues to around 100 members of a club on Prodigy.
