The low latency is partly due to the point-to-point protocol between Jetson Nano and motion control MCU. High priority packets interrupt low priority ones. When done, the state machine picks up where it left off. The source is cross-platform and optimized to fit in the MCU.

Finally got a chance to test out iOS 18’s Motion Vehicle Cues and I have to say it works pretty well. Haven’t gotten motion sickness yet from using my phone in this Uber

@frederikRiedel I've tested it on M1 and newer Macs, but it should also run on Intel Macs with macOS 14.0 or later.

@frederikRiedel I think there is no "public" API to access those accelerometers, also not all Macs have one, but thanks for the suggestion!

@nitrillo Ah wait - this requires the phone to be connected. Why not use the built-in accelerometer of modern Macs?

@nitrillo @enginoid Would appreciate a one time payment, even if more expensive. Have been using for the past hour, dont feel any nausea so seems to be working – noice product. Little annoying that the phone has to be active
