Recently, I've personally been finding NFTs interesting again. With the Azuki incident and Murakami Takashi's new trading cards, etc. In particular, seeing the whole Azuki fuss, I've been reminded that everyone loves Azuki. Until this incident happened, I also strongly believed that if NFT projects didn't create a sustainable business model, many of them would disappear. However, this experience reminded me that unlike stocks, NFT projects already have a culture that has developed around them, and there are a fair number of people who love the NFT project unconditionally, regardless of its business model. This dynamic is completely different from corporate equities, and the unique aspect of NFTs, which directly connects people with similar sensibilities through art and forms a community similar to the Japanese "oshikatsu" (supporting an idol group), is what is attracting NFT niches around the world. So, in a sense, this industry has taken shape. That doesn't mean I would rule out creating a strong, sustainable NFT company, and if that were possible, we would see the dawn of a new era for NFTs. On the other hand, even if that isn't possible for the time being, the unique world that has already been created by NFTs and the comfort that fills our mindshare are there. As long as these exist, NFT culture will never disappear. I want to keep enjoying this comfortable space.
