The MMR vaccine is very effective at preventing measles. It does not cause autism. In 2019, after plummeting vaccination rates, the Samoa measles outbreak killed 83 out of 5697 infected.

ACIP has been disbanded. The government’s response to the AAP lawsuit and judge Murphey’s injunction is to disband and then recreate a new ACIP committee, as this will take less time than would be required to file and prosecute an appeal. There will be no action from the government to respond to the defamatory characterization of the former ACIP members.

TITLE: Eight Years After Deposing Dr. Plotkin, the “Godfather of Vaccines,” He Sends Me a Letter BYLINE: Plotkin writes he will be “credited for protecting millions of children” and I will be “responsible for dead and sick unvaccinated children” After my book Vaccines, Amen was published, I received a letter from Dr. Stanley Plotkin, the “Godfather of Vaccines.” This is the first time in the eight years since I deposed him that he has contacted me, despite his endless public and private complaints and tirade related to that deposition. His efforts in the months and years post-deposition included: - having the WHO declare those hesitant to receive vaccines a global threat; - demanding FDA amend vaccine package inserts to include more trial information (which never occurred because it does not exist); - demanding CDC remove harms listed on vaccine information statements (such as removing “brain damage” from MMR’s vaccine information statement); - holding a closed-door meeting in London with leading vaccinologists (his disciples) to produce studies to validate, not study, vaccine safety; and - numerous other unfortunate acts designed to support his a priori beliefs regarding vaccines, hide their harms, and dehumanize anyone who questions his orthodoxy or declines to vaccinate. Despite his best efforts, he was not able to put the truths he was forced to admit in that deposition back in the bottle; nor have his efforts succeeded in bullying everyone into injecting without thinking. While the deposition, as he once wrote, was “traumatic” and “exhausted” him, my book has clearly pushed him far over the edge. Yet, again, and unsurprisingly, his only response, as you will see in his letter, is not about the substance of the book, but rather about how he (the world’s leading vaccinologist) needed more time to prepare for the deposition and that it went too long. He does, again in usual vaccinologist style, end his letter with a conclusory unsupported claim, that he will be “credited for protecting millions of children” and I will be “responsible for dead and sick unvaccinated children.” As you will see from his letter and my response, I made offers to give him a redo on the deposition as well as offered constructive steps towards protecting all children, including those injured by vaccines. He never responded to those overtures. Given the lack of response, the best potential for these letters to do good is to make them public. I trust you will find that these letters provide sharp insight into the overall issue with vaccinology, vaccines, and the religion that Dr. Plotkin and his disciples have developed around these products. James Van Der Beek is someone I’ve had the privilege of interacting with through the years. I knew him not as the actor, but as a husband, father, and genuinely good guy. Our kids are friends, and over the years I’ve seen firsthand the kind of character he brought to his family and the people around him. Fame aside, James always struck me as a decent, grounded, spiritual human being first. That’s the part of his story that deserves the most recognition. My thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful family.

I own crypto. I believe in the theory of the blockchain. But I also believe it’s a trap. Digital ID, CBDC’s, all our health data, social credit scores, your entire life being digitized and everything you do being recorded is a non starter for me. What happens when the system is centralized and your data is De-anonymized? You will have no where to hide. Zero privacy. And the system will have total control.

I’m born and raised Catholic. The sisters who taught me most of my young life always made one thing clear: judgement is reserved for God. Not very Catholic of you, imo. I might suggest you have some other issue with him, beside his faith.
GetYourePhil@PhillieT413

@JackPosobiec As a life long Catholic, you have no idea what being a Catholic really means. Just because you turned to it because it saved you from being a drug addict recently doesn’t mean you get to now preach to others what it means. Take a seat and learn what it means to be pious.

Dr. Offit is correct that “it’s much easier to be in the misinformation business than the information business.” After all, he has all of mainstream media to spread his misinformation as well as pharma’s multi-billion marketing budget, the federal health agencies’ multi-billion budget, etc. But he still whines people don't believe him. He apparently just can’t conceive that no matter how many times you say a falsehood, many still won't believe you.   @DrPaulOffit I will again offer to have a public exchange, with equal time, where we can each present evidence about each vaccine’s safety and efficacy. We can start with clinical trials, autism, or any one of the other hot button vaccine topics. Here's your chance to prove, with evidence, you are correct about childhood vaccines. After all, you often point out I am just a lawyer, and you a vaccinologist, and hence surely you should be able to easily prove your claims about vaccines while I drool on myself like a caveman. You game?

“I just want to acknowledge the elephant in the room. And the specific elephant in this case has to do with cumulative risk across the entire childhood vaccine schedule. And that is a risk for which we do not have adequate data. I think we can all agree on that.” - @RWMaloneMD

Paul Offit was invited to be at ACIP next to @AaronSiriSG. He could have 'fought for children' right at the source. But he chose to take shots from the highly authoritative podium of TMZ.... TMZ. Very telling. That's like Offit submitting a scientific study to Hustler Magazine rather than to BMJ. No offense to Hustler.

🚨 BOMBSHELL: CDC NOW ADMITS SCIENCE LACKING BEHIND CLAIM 'VACCINES DO NOT CAUSE AUTISM' This is the culmination of more than 6 years of work for @icandecide, which sued the CDC in 2020 to remove the unscientific claim from its website. This represents vindication for the 40-70% of Autism Parents in America who have been marginalized because of that unsupported claim. Now the website admits: "The claim 'vaccines do not cause autism' is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism." "Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities." "Scientific studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines contribute to the development of autism. However, this statement has historically been disseminated by the CDC and other federal health agencies within HHS to prevent vaccine hesitancy." "Multiple reports from HHS and the National Academy of Sciences ... have consistently concluded that there are still no studies that support the specific claim that the infant vaccines, DTaP, HepB, Hib, IPV, and PCV, do not cause autism and hence the CDC was in violation of the Data Quality Act when it claimed, 'vaccines do not cause autism.' CDC is now correcting the statement, and HHS is providing appropriate funding and support for studies related to infant vaccines and autism." "Of note, the 2014 Agency for Health Research and Quality review also addressed the HepB vaccine and autism. One cross-sectional study met criteria for reliability; it found a threefold risk of parental report of autism among newborns receiving a HepB vaccine in the first month of life compared to those who did not receive this vaccine or did so after the first month." "In fact, there are still no studies that support the claim that any of the 20 doses of the seven infant vaccines recommended for American children before the first year of life do not cause autism. These vaccines include DTaP, HepB, Hib, IPV, PCV, rotavirus, and influenza." As for the MMR vaccine, CDC's website now says: "In 2012, the IOM reviewed the published MMR-autism studies and found that all but four of them had 'serious methodological limitations,' and the IOM gave them no weight. The remaining four studies and a few similar studies published since also have all been criticized for serious methodological flaws. Furthermore, they are all retrospective epidemiological studies which cannot prove causation, fail to account for potential vulnerable subgroups, and fail to account for mechanistic and other evidence linking vaccines with autism."
