I will always be ride-or-die for premium. As someone who's primary form of video entertainment is YouTube, I'm content to pay them for providing the service.
Watching the ads or paying for the subscription is what allows the site to exist in the first place.

It SUCKS that this didn't get the same treatment that Final Fantasy 12 did. Better resolution/framerates, and a few quality of life adjustments. This game is OUTSTANDING!

I remember sitting outside the Goblin cave in Gaia’s Navel and just letting the music play. It’s a song called “Distant Thunder” and it’s just really hard to be in a bad mindset while that song is playing. One of the reasons Secret of Mana is so beloved.

@pertzel_ The Switch doesn't even have a camera to scan QR to begin with !
But there could be a way around this using the Nintendo app on smartphones like they do for other games
However if they wanted to do that, they would have announced a Tomodachi feature coming for that app, I think

@koiwai_posting This article from 2 months ago quotes nintendo in saying that there won't be online functionality in the game to share miis, and also talks about the local sharing thing. But no hard deconfirmation of qr codes.

This makes me wish there was a good alternative to letterboxd, backloggd, whatever that doesn't lock stuff behind donator perks. It's so annoying to have stuff like stats and recaps behind a paywall.
