Last night, on a Sunday at 8pm, over 100 people came to hear our vision for CA-17. (We had to find extra chairs!) Nearly everyone in this audience supported @RoKhanna 10 years ago. Now they’re saying No More Ro. The organizer, Manisha Shah, is a force of nature. We only met last week, and she organized the entire event that quickly. We discussed the needs of the Indian and Hindu communities including being against Prop 16, increasing access to H1Bs, and job security. We were also joined by some friends from the Jewish community of CA 17. Looking forward to their Mimouna celebration on Thursday. Lastly, shoutout to Thecha, a new restaurant that just opened near the Apple campus. Delicious veg food, please stop by to support local businesses! While we were in the district over the weekend, Ro went on MTP to complain about the Iron Dome. Priorities!
