We're now diving into one of the most exciting, and challenging parts of development, the $STRATA token economy and town economy design and implementation. Currency Structure A three layer economy. Resources → Gold for gameplay progression and sink mechanics. Resources persist as tradeable items with real market value. Inventory System. Designing the inventory framework that connects mining, crafting, trading, and extraction. Staked Run Mechanic Players can stake into a shared pot before entering a run. Survivors split the pot, fallen players forfeit their stake. Staking increases the value of successful extractions, funded by forfeited stakes. PvP bounty hunting, killing, or robbing a staked player transfers their stake to the victor. House Rake & Token Sinks. Sustainable economic sinks designed to support long-term game health and token utility. Anti-Abuse Systems Safeguards against farming, multi accounting, collusion, and other exploits that could impact the economy. This is where $STRATA starts evolving from a dungeon-mining game into a living economy.

This isn't designed to be open source. We've seen a lot of games lately that are mostly static or isometric experiences, and $STRATA is taking a different approach. We'll be sharing development updates through our social media channels as we continue to build and scale the game. For the community, we'll be opening either a Discord or Telegram group. We're still deciding which platform makes the most sense for STRATA, especially since we plan to add bots that will connect directly to the game and provide in game functionality.
