With Opus 95 we mostly take a deep dive into "Layer 9" territory, which by the way is NOT outside the scope of IPJ. Many thanks to all who contributed to this edition! I hope it sparks further debate, Letters to the Editor are most welcome! Have a great holiday!

@protocoljournal @JosueMVivas Proposal to fix a small factual error. In the frst page ”The first commercial telephone exchange…” should be something like ”The first automated telephone exchange…”

@HarriLuuppala @JosueMVivas Wikipedia says: "With this help the Strowger Automatic Telephone Exchange Company was formed and it installed and opened the first commercial exchange in (his then home town of) La Porte, Indiana, on November 3, 1892, with about 75 subscribers and capacity for 99. "

@miguelpdl @workergnome Yeah, that "international link to London" went through our local IMP in NORWAY which was connected via satellite at Tanum in Sweden to SDAC in Virginia. Homework: Why are there seismic monitoring stations in Norway which has no earthquakes ?
