Everyone with an iPhone that can afford good seats at the BTS concert is a professional photographer these days. These men are beautiful and they photograph well … taking photos and attempting to attach your brand is barely a step up from the paparazzi… in fact it’s a step down because at least the paparazzi can sell the photos they take

That’s the point, they’re not yours. Watermarks are used to mark intellectual property and concert photos are not intellectual property. There are explicit direction in the tickets that lenses are not allowed to keep professional photographers from making money off of the members.

The tickets explicitly state that photographer lenses shouldn’t be used because they don’t want professional photographers making money off of the members. That is the purpose of a watermark, to mark your intellectual property so that other people cannot make money off of it. Photos at a concert are not intellectual property, they are taking away from other people’s experience so that they can get notoriety on the internet
